Suburban Aquafarm ™
THE SUBURBAN AQUAFARM™
The Suburban Aquafarm™ was created for the American Suburban household of 3 to 5 family members with a backyard area that would fit a 10 by 10 square foot greenhouse structure. The production model will be completely self sustainable within the greenhouse structure. The system is powered by solar energy and uses natural sunlight to grow the vegetables. It will have a built-in self-harvesting water recovery system with the multi-closed loop which tops up the fish water. Another key provision is the “secret black box”, which is an industry changing unit called the “BONANZA™” acronym for Biological Organic Natural Atmospheric Nitrification Zyme Accelerator. BONANZA™ is designed to produce a complete plant food without the need of industrial fertilizer.
The overall effective plant growing area is doubled to approximately 200 square foot whereby close to 500 mature lettuce heads can be produced within 30-day cycle. The fish tank at 1200 gallons is designed to hold 600 pounds of fish, which produces approximately 30- 50 pounds of fish each month. The fish feed FST have developed is non GMO, Gluten and Dairy free with the proprietary blend of super foods & herbs, mixed with Pea Protein, Spirulina, Watercress, Comfrey, Moringa Oleifera and Sesame leaves. The unsustainable wild caught fish is not used in our fish feed because we are using Spirulina algae which is better as fish feed and has the omega 3, 6, and amino acids to replace what may have been lost without the wild caught fish.
The Suburban Aquafarm™ is in a league of its own with nothing on the market that compares. An aquaponic system similar in growing area is the Nelson Pade brand. (see Reports & Publications- Competition Comparison Nelson Pade) The “Family Plus” unit being the closest in vegetable growing area to the Suburban Aquafarm™ is priced at $12,995.00. The fish tank and production capacity of the Nelson Pade system is only one third of the Suburban Aquafarm™, has a design floor footprint at a clumsy ten (10) time the size, and the cost does not include a greenhouse. Aquaponics USA brand (see Appendix E – Competition Aquaponics USA) has a school student version that is less than half the size of vegetable growing capacity of the Suburban Aquafarm™. The fish tank is one-third in size of the Suburban Aquafarm™ and the floor footprint coverage is approximately eight times larger. The system does not come with a greenhouse cover and is priced at $10,126.00.
The Suburban Aquafarm™ unit is in a class of its own, with all the bells and whistles and unlike all its competition, a fish growing system that works. We have not determined the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), as that will depend on the strategic alliances we develop. FST’s strategy with the Suburban Aquafarm™ is to provide an affordable option to the social-economically challenged families all over the world. These units are well suited to those third world country environments. FST is poised to be the perfect fit for American churches and charity groups to purchase these units and place into their country or program of choice.
